Hi. I just got home from Internext and although I don't like to start trouble, I feel like this post is really important. Yesterday at the closing party I had 3-4 drinks and within a couple hours I was pretty much passed out and out of my mind. I'm certain that someone slipped something in my drink, as 3-4 over a couple of hours would not do me in. I was extremely groggy and not myself at all - when I finally came to my senses many, many hours later I was shaking, sweating and completely dehydrated. This was not a case of too much alcohol, and it wasn't a hang over. Looking back, I even remember finding my drink moved to a spot where I didn't put it.
The reason I'm posting this here is because I don't remember most of the night and would like to apologize if I did anything wrong or caused any inconveniences to anyone. My boyfriend says he noticed in time and got me to the hotel before I really got bad. I'm not going to throw around "to whoever that did this to me..." threats because it's all said and done, but I think this info should be out there. I'm actually very cautious about this kind of stuff so I really can't believe it happened to me.
My boyfriend and I would also like to thank Josh or John from Metal Cash (it was a rough night so we apologize for not noting your name) that helped carry me around and took care of me in the hotel and the airport. I hardly remember it, but Andrew says you were more helpful than he could have imagined.
That's really all I have to say. It was a very sour ending to a great show, but I don't regret going and look forward to seeing all the great people I met again.
