personally, i am tired of people that decide to live in on the ocean in homes that get flooded or totally hammered during storms, live in flood zones, on fault lines, in tornado alley or areas that get totally pummeled by hurricanes every other year and act totally shocked and surprised when their shit gets destroyed.
its one thing when its just a total, random act of god... its another thing entirely when you know "next time it really rains hard, i am totally fucked", do nothing and act like the problem is the fact that it rained.
my regret in these situations is that more people aren't killed. the gene pool could do without these assholes. people in lousianna blame the federal government for not proactively fixing the levies in new orleans. well... uhm... hmm... excuse me, but i would think that if you constantly live with the eminent threat of the death of you and your family, you might consider doing a little something about it yourselves and make sure action is taken one way or another.
