Unlike some technology companies that spend millions on executive security, travel and other perquisites, Microsoft gave Ballmer a modest $6,750 in matches to his 401K retirement plan and approximately $3,000 worth of life insurance and athletic club memberships.

yes but that wasn't part of the pay . nobody is arguing he isn't rich.. but he owned the same stock last year and he made the company tens of billions in profits this year

Ballmer is one of the wealthiest men in america, why should he even take a salary to manage HIS own $XXXB company? $100,000 is not even enough to fill his mega yacht gas tank.

Microshit programmers anyway do all the work these days, managers throw money around in pet projects like Xbox and other shit, losing billions in shareholder money.

Microshit is a monopoly, they don't need to 'make money', the money flows in naturally, money comes to them, they are not after money.

His pay comes from increasing the value of the stock which he own. I don't think he should be given any extraoridany salary. He is working to increase his share value. No salary could match what increasing the value of millions of shares could.
