ive upgraded all of my dual core's to the core2duo's - i have 30+ dual core's sitting in a box ill sell cheap if you want some =]
im using about 30% less power and encoding about 40% faster since the upgrades
for what its worth the 1.8 core2 overclocks so nice that they perform as well as the 2.4 core2's. all of them are running between 2.8 and 3.0 ghz.
