    Who cleans you house / appartement / cardboard box ?

    My roommates were like gone for the holidays and are about to come back , now , normally they do most the cleaning, but as they are now coming back and cant really let them come home in a dirty appartement I have to clean whole this place up in the next couple of days , not looking forward to it ?

    so , who does you cleaning ? got a girlfriend who does it ? or do you pay some russian immigrant ?

                  Just cleanup after yourself each day and you'll never have an insane mess on your hands to suddendly clean up. Plus, you never know when people may stop by your place.

                                          I need to get a cleaning person. Been telling myself that since I moved here. This is the first time in 15 or so years I haven't had one and my reasoning was that this house was small enough for me to do it myself. I'm realizing that the size isn't the issue, I'm just a pig!!

                                                      A friend of mine used a maid service but they would always clean the house first before the maid got there, so it didn't look as bad.

                                                          Oh, I always cleaned before she came, lol! At the time I had a cook coming in once a month too. When I told a guy I was dating I needed to clean before the cleaning lady came, he asked if I was going to cook before the cooking lady came too

                                                                  Me and my guy both do the house cleaning -- we trade up with cooking and cleaning duties.

                                                                  And as to maid services... while they will dust, vacuum, scrub the toilets and such, they don't actually pick up your crap off the floor and put it away, which is why people have to "clean-up" before the cleaning people come in.

                                                                                              Neither me nor my bf cleans the house is a pig sty. I can't really have a maid clean, cause like someone said you gotta "clean up your shit before the cleaners come", most of the junk is around my desk, I have a few months of check stubs all over my desk, under my desk, personal mail under my desk, on my desk, personal papers, all my makeup lying all over the floor, even some food, just junk all over the place, not really something I want a maid to clean, something I have to do myself.

                                                                                              A maid can just vacuum and dust but I don't think they should be going through my stubs and personal mail and stuff like that. It's really bad, I haven't cleaned once in 4 months, it looks like an explosion or nuclear bomb went off. It's so bad I don't even know where to start.

                                                                                              It's BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD.

                                                                                              Our refrigerator smells too, I don't think we've cleaned it in over 4 months, when you open it it reeks up the house, we probably have rotten food in there that we dont even know about it... oh well. i'll just do it tomorrow i keep saying that everyday

                                                                                              The junk is all my personal mail and crap, i have to do it myself, but i cant because im lazy!

I can't stand a messy house...it grosses me out. Clothes all over the place is one thing...but when there's dirty plates, food laying around etc... that's a total gross out for me.

                                                                                                                  I'll admit that my office sometimes does get messy with check stubs, papers etc.,but I'll just grab it all and make a few huge stacks to go through later, this way the maid can still clean, dust etc..
