Once a cheater always a cheater. There is a very good chance that this has happened plenty of times before and this is just the first time you caught here. She was obviously comfortable enough to do it in your home while you were on errands and while your daughter was under the same roof. Your girlfriend is a seasoned vet in the infidelity field. If you caught her in some complex scheme to cheat on you, then there would still be hope. My advice is to let your ex-best friend have the girl, he deserves here. The right thing to do is rarely the easiest thing to do. Just my
