i have a girlfriend that pulled that shit last month. i told her the next time i fly back into Pittsburgh, and i hear that shes still snorting that shit, that i'd find her & kick her ass & break her fuckin nose so she couldnt snort anything for a long time.

shes been clean for just under a week now lol

In time he will get bored of coke (most people do) and he will quit, don't worry about him.

I have a friend who is struggling with coke addiction right now and they live in another city.

It's really tough for anybody to stop others from taking drugs, so I just focus on giving moral support. I call, write emails, send music cds, talk about my own struggles in life and how I'm overcoming them, listen to him talk about his life, support his continuing efforts to quit (even if he just put off taking a hit for 10 minutes), give him whatever research I find that has to do with overcoming cocaine addiction, and just be the best non-judgemental friend I can be. I've added myself to his support system.

Overcoming any addiction is a process, and I know that my efforts, albiet small, do have an impact. I love my friend dearly and am 100% behind him. I know he can do it, and he knows that I believe in him. Eventually he'll get there; in the meantime it's one baby step at a time!

So true, for the ones that will kidnap and assult their friends in-order to make them stop, remember that assult has 6 month to 2 years jail sentence, and kidnapping is even more, I think its 5 to 10 years. So when your in court and the judge tells you, why you did this and your trying to explain, they might not buy it. It might make sense to you, but not for the judge. If you don't like them using drugs, stay away from them, its that simple.
