Hey, I haven't been here in a while so I thought I'd ask. Last I heard, you were interested in getting a puppy. Well... I dyed my papillon pink with Strawberry Kool Aid and I thought of you! Did you ever end up talking Halcyon into getting you a pug?

If not, you should get yourself a pink papillon for Christmas!

No dogs hair shouldnt be dyed its not correct,its actually considered abuse and dogs can be removed for that reason.A boston I was looking at was taken away from his owner for that, its a dog not a toy.

I hate the way dogs are being used as fashion accessories now too & can only imagine the number of women who bought tiny purse dogs to be "cool" like Paris Hilton. But it doesn't take long before dog owners realize it's a big job to pick up the poop, clean up the dog hair, trim their nails etc. With small dogs that are bred to be smaller & smaller, they have a ton of health problems too. I really don't think anyone who buys a dog thinking of it as a fashion accessory is going to keep the dog very long when they see the reality of dog ownership.

I can see how dying a dog with KoolAid promotes the fashion accessory idea & I'm definitely against that, but abuse? Isn't getting a dog a prosthetic set of balls so he can enter a dog show a little more extreme? What about those bark collars or "invisible" fences? Pure torture simply because the owner doesn't want to change the visual landscaping of their yard by putting up a fence.
