Anyone had any success using Chameleon?

I've read a lot of articles on GFY.com about the use of Chameleon but I'm curious if anyone has had any REAL success with it?

I've read that some of the TGP's on their list are so back dated that it would take months to get listed.

I'm curious because I've been away from this business for a couple of years and was looking at using Chameleon for some new stuff. But I've always been skeptical of auto-submitters as they've never worked very well for me in the past.

Any insights would be appreciated.

it may brings a few bucks but without your own database it might be a waste of time... though it is realy a good tool

Chameleon has all that webmaster needs and IMO it does provide a big help to users on a front of time saving.
Its database is regularly updated and all sites are hand set up according to their site rules. You can still use Chameleon Manual submit mode though if you wanna have a full control above the process.

With some sites, it really will take quite a long time to get your stuff listed, but then again, its not something Chameleon could influence as this part is really up to the TGP/MGP owners. Those who are expecting to make a shitload of money over-night might be disappointed, however if you submit on a regular basis for certain amount of time, it doesnt really matter how long will it take to have your galleries listed, because if they get listed, you will make the money.

If you're serious about gallery submitting, you can't be without the whole set of tools; Chameleon Submitter, Confirmer and Partner Account Requester

6 months submitting now with the default database, updated and submitting everyday and so far, I HAVE NO SIGN UP for the 5 big sponsor sites i'm promoting

so therefor i conclude that if you are using the default database, you are only wasting your time submitting...

i don't try yet the LL submitter, i heared its better that the galleries...

As a TGP owner without a staff to help with gallery reviews. Often more galleries are submitted than time allows to review. Also there are all the cheats (change galleries after submission etc.) to deal with and black list.

If you do get your gallery listed, it stays in the database for a long time. Usually more than a year. Plus it rotates to the front page depending on the clicks it gets. I scan often for 404s, changed galleries, 302s etc.

I gave up on partner accounts cause I found partners cheating too. Just cause someone applies for a partner account doesn't mean they're not scum. There are regular submitters to the site that I have grown to trust by past experience.

If submissions is your thing, buying spots from a large site is worthwhile and offers the best chance at a ROI of your time and $. Then you can submit manually to get the traffic you want.

Shemp is a good place to submit. Don't know how booked his site is, but worth checing out.

Chameleon submitter is just a tool (perfect one) You need partner acconts and good sponsors to earn serious income ;)

I'm not trying to be a dick, but I'd personally conclude that your galleries suck, rather than blaming the sites you're submitting to

I never really liked it, I went with Dreamsubmitter, a little hard to use at first but after watching the tutorial it can do twice the amount of things that chameleon can

How can you make seo with sumbitter ?I know you can put links to your other sites in your freesites but that doesnt generate much effect.

Chameleon worked for me... back in 2003. I wouldn't waste my time with TGP-traffic.

oh yeah thank you, my galleries suck

but i'm not blaming any sites, i'm blaming the default database, all they put there were crap, all asking for username and password! fuck you chameleon, you should pick up the best converting free tgp sites. you just wasting my time and my $170

If you got listed then the submitter worked

Where you got listed and how many listings you got depends on how you set things up and your galleries.
