                                                                                                                                        I get an email from a new affiliate that has just joined our program...
                                                                                                                                        they say i just signed up, here's my account information and wanted to know when and how they would be getting paid and where WE would be advertising their linking codes for them....



                                                                                                                                        So ... it took me a few minutes to actually "get" what this person was saying and then i decided that i should contact them via icq to make sure i wasn't jumping to conclusions and calling them complete morons

                                                                                                                                        but i was right... they actually thought by signing up for our program that we took their affiliate linking codes and placed them in adult pages and did all the work in terms of sending the traffic to them and making them the cash while they sat back and waited for the check !!!!

                                                                                                                                        If only it were that easy...

                                                                                                                                        Juicy... it does take a lot of patience to deal with affiliates and believe me we all have days where we feel like smashing our computers, but you have to remember that it's the nice, friendly and honest ones that make our jobs fun.
                                                                                                                                        I can truly say that i have learned quite a bit from some of my affiliates over the years, so not all of them are complete write offs...
