No, I stay away from celebrities. They can get freaky if you say hi to them. I would have said something to her because a pal of mine I used to teach comics is famous. He used to draw those X Men series like books at Marvel for years. He was crazy about her. They're both Italian so they would have gotten along swell.

I see lots of famous people in my hood. Keifer Sutherland eats down the street. Always throws a napkin up in front of his face when I walk by. He must be scared of Mongolians or something.

Saw Tim Currie at the Japanese bistro around the corner and Brendan Fraser at another bistro down the street. Some celebs look ten times better in person for sure. All the ones I've named look far better naturally without the makeup.

One guy that scared the fuck out of me was Ron Glass. He played on Barney Miller. He's the black guy. He came out of a supermarket one day and that guy looked like he won every olympic contest in the world. He had white hair though and I know he's gotta be pushin' 60 easy or more. He was cut, slim, built.

I even saw Phyllis Diller a few months ago and she looked great too. She's in a new animated movie 'Hoodwinked' due out this month.

I rarely see any adult stars at all. they all must live in Florida. I would see them in NY but around L.A. none.

Oh I leave celebs alone. Just cause I know what it's like to be famous. It's easy to get fame, but difficult to live with it. Most celebs can't go to regular stores or theme parks etc. They live in a closed world.

Plus with all the nutcases running around and stalking and shit I figure just a 'Hi!' is good enough. If they want to chat and give an autograph, that's on them.

It WAS her! I told one of the boys who is an actor and is a neighbor that I thought I saw Christina Ricci and he told me he'd seen her many times at the store there. She must live in the neighborhood. Lots of celebs live here. Glen Danzig lives nearby too. He does comics with friends of mine.

It's really a nice neighborhood. I can see why they moved here. I didn't know til he died that Johnny Cochran the lawyer lived a few blocks away. Very expensive here too. The average house is like 700k on my street. That's up from 300k in '99 or '01.

You gotta have crazy loot to live here and I don't know why cause the majority of restraurants suck and the women are nothing to write home about. I might see 1 woman a day that I would drool over. In New York, just 5 minutes hanging out anywhere in the city and you fall in love 50 times.

That's what I thought but California has different laws. It's a Constitutional issue yet the average guy can't afford to battle lawyers. Now if they catch you shooting vids or taking pics they can confiscate your shit.

Makes no sense to me. Constitutionally, as long as you're not making a hazardous situation, nor infringing on someone's civil rights you can take pics especially if the person is a public figure.

After all these posts I've made on GFY I've never gotten my GFY T-shirt. I'll see if I'm still eligible and I'll give her the t-shirt if she says okay. Could be a major fashion statement and GFY will have to go mainstream.
