Who here got into the Adult Industry in the past year?

I've gotten into this industry within the last year. I've been into programming and web development though for over 8 years. I jumped into it for a few reasons.
1. I needed something more interesting to do with my time...and what better than do two things I love...programming and porn.
2. I need more income. Baby on the way and all that. (But I decided to get into adult before I found out about that one.)
3. This is definitely the industry that I've been looking for my entire life.

About 3-4 years ago I was into programming heavily (dealing mainly with *ahem* aohell/aim related things) and I had a stupid porn-ring going with my "crew" but I didn't know much about it other than signup with a sponsor, throw the links and galleries up and money will roll in. It sort of worked for a bit.
I recently started back at it because, well it's fun. Way better than being a friggin' admin for stupid ass sports handicapping sites (just my opinion)...even though I still do that too.

ill be starting soon. Ive been lurking around reading some of the do's and dont's of the industry so far. I figure ill go to vegas, meet some people and figure out where i fall in. I woulnt count myself in yet, but hopefully that will change very soon...

Bump for any other fuckers who joined in the past year

Well, I was familiar with HTML, so made my first site 2003 (non adult oriented) and start my webmaster career just from fun. Later, I had founded about some adult click sponsor (hpic), added baners on site and made my first check. I thought that this was great way to fill in my student budget. Later, I discovered some adult boards and read them a lot, so I decided to build my first adult site in 2004. All that time I was a student and doing for fun, some extra bucks (not big money really), and all was cool, untill my mom didn't lost her job. Family wan't be able to support two students - me and my brother, so I've decided to put my students days behind me forever, and enter in porn industry like full time job at 2005. So here I am, trying to make enough for a living from it, help myself in the first place and them my family. Anyway, even if I was on last year my studies and so close to the end, I am not really sorry for quiting it. When graduated, I would have montly salary 300 EUR, and thats the money I can earn for 3 days in this industry, if I work hard and smart next few years (let's be modest)
