Don't you think it's really convenient that there is an audio tape of the incident?

I would expect there would be security video leading up to the room door, but this audio tape is in the room without a doubt.

I can imagine this scenario :

Under cover:
Hey OJ, I know some people who have your stuff and I bet we can catch them and get it back.

OJ :
Really? How would this happen?

Under cover :
I'll set it all up. I know the people. It'll go smooth because once they see you they will know they've been caught and just hand the stuff over.

*Then the under cover wears a wire and hires some 3rd party idiots to bring guns.

Not saying that this happened: but wouldn't that be easy to set up?
That excellent quality audio tape is almost too good to be an accident.

I haven't read all that much...

But, from what I've caught, I think it's perfectly reasonable to assume the possibility that O.J was the victim in this last bout.

Of course, if he had a gun in his possession, all that goes out the window, imho.

Let me guess that you can't read worth a shit and don't even understand what this post is about.

It's about the cops figuring out a way to do what you've been dreaming of but since it might involve getting OJ to do something without it being his sole idea then you have to try and find a problem with anyone who suggested it.

I think OJ set up a deal with the Goldman family. They just released OJ's new book, and needed publicity to sell it. So I think OJ made a deal with them to do something outrageous, get the book into the news, sell more copies and then the Goldman's will leave OJ's money alone after that.

This thread isn't about the murder trial.

It's about how this tape was made and somebody already posted that info.
And the tape was made "pretty much" as I suggested (ie. the person wearing the tape was the one who called OJ with the idea to start with).

Maybe you are not thinking about this:

I call you up and say "let's do this" you say "alright, I'll do it".
Then after we do it I give a tape recording to the media of us doing it and you never knew I had a tape recorder.

Would you be pissed at me?

That's the only question here. It's not really about OJ, it's about the circumstances. Can you separate the two for this discussion?

Well, of course.
If someone is telling you to do someting fucked up then you have to back out or be ready for a surprise if you've been set up.

But there wouldn't be all these Nigerian money scams if people all followed that rule.

If I had the audio I would have built up a little more hype about it before releasing it so I could get a better price.

This quick release makes it seem like price was not an issue.
