haha we get about 1 request a month for the video to be on VHS, I have had them spend enough on VHS to buy a new DVD player, they just do not want to change

There are more people then you think, most of the people I know not in our business are all running old computers on crt monitors . Some of these people make alot of money but surfin state of the art is not important to them.I told my wife there is no excuse for this guy not to have at least a dvd player. They are what 20 bucks at walmart?

The Wrangler I bought last year came with a freaking VHS on how to put all the fabric down. Then I found out the GPS in the Cherokee (also 2006) is from 2002.

webTV is actually the future on the internets.. just watch and you will see. Once IP TV takes over, you will just rent a webTV like box from your cable company to browse the net or at least the average surfer will.

The end of net neutrality will pave the way for it to happen.

Even a windows 98 computers will download and play HD video.
I personally don't know anyone running a machine older then XP though.

My server stats show between 10 and 20 web tv surfers a months.
Thats not very many.

I haven't had a VCR in like 10 years.

Actually WebTV is now MSNTV and a couple of years ago they updated it. not the same as using a computer but a definate improvement over the old WebTV.

The computer shop that we share office space with often sees people coming in with Windows 95 on their computers. Like someone said earlier - people don't see the need to upgrade like we do and so they're happy to plug along with old technology even though they could afford to upgrade.
