I can't believe how big a deal the media is making of this.
I know alot of people dismiss her as a 1 hit wonder bimbo
but you have to give credit where credit is due. She is a
legend and one of the most successful artists in the last
6 years. She has the money. fans, and awards to prove it.
Even if this new album bombs she will still make more money off
of one tour then alot of folks make in a life time. The same
goes for Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson could make 10 million
dollars of a usa tour without a new album....no problem..merchandise alone would be 10 million. I laugh when the media talks about artists of this level going broke. No Artist that becomes that famous will ever be broke.

I wouldn't go as far as saying that her "career" is over, it will most likely just move into another direction. I WOULD say that her ever being taken seriously again (if she ever really was) is over. She would have to come out publically and beg for the public's forgiveness, enter rehab and claim drugs/alcohol addiction. Then the people might forgive and forget.

Otherwise, I think her career will consist of Hollywood parties, a pony ride service or possibly a hot dog cart out in front of Fenway Park

Shes a pro choreographer / dancer,not a singer, in every concert she´s had , she had to sing with the track on the back, never live singing..., her voice has always been remastered. now it seems like she´s not even dancing....so, I guess her career is almost over, she´s not gonna be broke, but.....She´s definitely NOT a diva like Madonna

That performance was very strange..she was very high on something..who knows what. She was smiling and hardly dancing like she wasnt sure of her feet.

For a Dancer to not be sure of her feet is a very weird feeling...but she played it off like she was drunk or something.

Must suck going through life while america ridicules and watches your every move.

She is pretty much done as far as I can see. She was a pop music flavor of the month that had some legs. She can't sing without a lot of studio help so she put together a good package deal for us. She used to be smoking hot, could dance and had good pop songs. Now she is known for doing strange stuff an not looking so hot.

The only way should make a comeback is if she laid low, got super hot again and then burst back onto the scene. All that said the major hurdle she will have is that her fans have gotten older and moved on to the next thing. Pop music fans tend to do that. She still has fans and could have a career, but she would have to really work hard and I doubt it would be anything like it once was.

The question is does she car? She's been working since she was a little kid. Now she has a truckload of money. How motivated is she?

All she needs to do is take one year off of partying, stay out of the media, train hard on her body and her dance moves, spend 3 months in he studio and be a great mom.
Then come back out into the media with her new look and her new Album.
Everyone will forgive her for being a fuck up and it will show the world if she can make a comeback, anyone can.
I have never cared for her, but I think she has the skills. I would sign her to our label in a hearbeat.

I disagree. Her name is a household staple, and I assume she has many many years left to live... saying she'll not be taken seriously again is premature, imho.

As much as I don't like her music I doubt her career is going to be over any time soon think about all the "celebs" that thrive on bad publicity and how much they make. Heck even being accused of child molestation doesn't stop these people (Wacko Jacko) from making big bucks. And that's the key as long as people can make money off from her she'll still have a career, Sure she might not be any good as an "artist" anymore but I reckon a few months in the gym and a good home made porn video and she'll be right up there along with Paris Hilton

I mean how dare you charge someone to watch you live when all you're doing is dancing around like a crack head having a seizure while you lip sync your songs. That, to me, is like telling your fans to fuck themselves while spitting in their face. when people go to a concert to see a performer that they like they want to hear them sing live.. not lipping it all.

It's true she is everywhere these days. But to me she is everywhere for all the wrong reasons. They are slamming on her in all those magazines. She will sell records, but I think her career is going to be a mere shadow of its old self. Some bad publicity is okay, but when you are getting tons of publicity and it is all bad, that eventually ends up hurting you.

Look at Lindsay Lohan. After Mean Girls she was one of the hottest actresses in the world. The she became a tabloid queen and her movies started bombing. Sure, they probably sucked and that didn't help, but a lot of people just stopped liking her because of all the bad press.

I'll say this. If her new album comes out and it has a few songs that she can parlay into big singles, she may be on the comeback trail. If it comes out and gets panned, she's in big trouble.

i think britney can do more. first of all she's still young and pretty. she got the talent and already got the name and career before. she just need to focus more on her attitude problems. try to bring back her sexy body, we all know that as a celebrity; face and body are first priorities. then on her talentand acting as well every time she performs.
