I speak Norwegian, Swedish and English, and I understand Danish and German. Would love to speak spanish, italian and mandarin, but I guess that will never happend!

Most certainly is a language and it is different in different countries. My best friend from high school became a teacher at Gallaudet after getting into learning how to sign in high school. I know how to do my name but that is about it.

I've been living in Spain for quite a few years now, and I am still not fluent.
I can understand it, and speak it decently, but I imagina I must sound like a Somali immigrant in Norway.

Anyways, it's good to not understand everything all the time, but my girlfriend is picking up on the fact that I understand stuff she says when I WANT to.

For internet business, German is the way to go. They have credit cards and they use them online. Other languages may have greater numbers of speakers, but they are a less affluent demo and don't have computers and a credit card.
