                                  to reset it "toggle the hold switch (set it to hold and then turn it off again). Press the Menu and Center buttons at the same time for about 6 seconds until the apple logo appears" . From the booklet

                                                          In any case, My ipod broke twice in less than 2 months. Garabage. The ones with a HD are shit. Buy flash based ones.

                                                          The HD fail very easy. If you hear a lot of clicking when you put it to your ear, and see no functionality, it's probably failed.
