Adbrite - good, bad ugly?

For me:

1 The traffic quality was horrible but i guess this can be different per site. I tried several sites though.
2 The traffic is got was nowhere NEAR the traffic amount that was projected.

buyer and seller side of things, if you need a good sales rep, i can hand you over mine, shes pretty nice. she will let you know what sites are good and so forth, and get you all squared away.

fris I hit you on icq for that info. I did some stuff on fuskers a while ago. Sort of was making there traffic work for me and not against me. but the ad stuff did not work that great so was revisiting the idea.

We have a good return on investment with Adbrite. We receive back about as much cash as we spend and receive constant traffic also. Hard to beat the combination.

Pretty accurate, we tried it and nothing happened at all really.

you obviously arent using the correct sites then. there are some big sites that send targetted visitors. you cant just pick random sites.

which sites are you advertising on. i mostly advertise on the ones i visit myself, and talk to the actual site owners myself, work out deals and such.

i dont just place the ads, most of them i have already done business with before. sometimes buy package deals. with adbrite/plus banner spots/etc

there are many sites on adbrite that convert great. you just need to know which sites to use. yes, many of them suck. but finding the winners is the key.

is it mainstream? adult? you are looking for. avnads is adult part of the adbrite network. if you want cheap advertising, and not going the adbrite route hit me up i can show you some sites you can get some advertising with not spending the big bucks, but getting more clicks.

ok I did some one day buy spots. Better deal the longer you go but should give me enough data to see if I want to continue.

i don't use them because they are kind of expensive.

i prefer adengage.com myself.

also keep in mind, you can't just advertise once and expect results.
most of these sites have visitors that visit daily. they may click your ad
once and not order anything at all. but if you are consistent, they may give you another shot later.

i try to never, ever, pay more then 2 cents per click.

yes, but you have to know what sites that are popular, most of the ones i already know are, cause i have traded traffic blog wise with some of them. once you trade with 1, you get in a ring with all of them, and they all have a high book mark crowd. some range from 10k up to 150k. some have good results some dont. plus you have to watch what country the surfers are coming from. plus faster deliverence contacting the owner and placing banner ads, or editorial plugs. and you will get much more exposure that way.

I tried AAC with them, didn't meet ROI. In fairness, it depends on which sites you choose to put your ads on.
