                    As I reflect upon the world...
                    in the first minutes of the new year...

                    I have deep concerns. And soaring confidence.

                    I have lofty dreams. And failing projects.

                    I have a loving partner by my side (and in my dungeon).

                    I am exactly where I am supposed to be.

                    And I want to sincerely thank the GFY community for the amazing support I've felt both personally, and in my relationship with tassy.

                                                            Hal, I'll save the bulk of my new years wishes until I talk to you on Monday, but I thought I'd post to share this bit.
                                                            I was walking up la rambla last night, through the sea of humanity that packed the streets after the clock struck 12. I was in much the same state as the night we hung out. And as I walked through the crowd there was the strangest wind blowing up from the ocean. Big things are afoot. Big things.
                                                            2006 is going to be a great year, and I'm glad I get to share it with you.
