Believe me - "big" does not necessarily translate to being "wealthy"
Again - depends on whatever sphere of this biz you are working in - sometimes it may need to be big to be economically viable. Sometimes a one-man band plays a very profitable tune. Other times there is a happy medium in the middle with a number of staff.
Been at all ends of the scale in this biz, and spent time as a solo programmer, operated companies with 10-50 people and larger operations with around 1000 staff. The larger it is - it takes you away from what you thought you wanted to do - and this is replaced with being a "manager" on a daily basis.
Bottom line, you can earn the same "wealth" by working smarter - it does not necessarily mean "big"
