                          I agree, and have to admit that my family also owned more slaves than anyone. They also owned the famous slave island. If you know your history, then you know the name of that island. But most likely you dont.

                                      sorry, i'm very well versed in civil war era history, i live directly on top of one of the biggest battlefields on the east coast...however i've never found the slave element to be interesting in any way, shape or form....infact i've never studied the aspect of enslavement in any culture, be it the irish, the jews etc.

                                      its just not something that interests me

                                      and just for the record, if you were a direct descendant of such a large estate, why do you work?...wouldn't you be a old $ trust fund baby?
