I was just in Durban for the last two weeks. Bunny chow is actually a South African twist on indian food.
My girlfriend is from the Chatsworth area of Durban, and came to the States 12 years ago. She's Indian.
It was fun. I was there to meet with several banks in south africa to bring them into the high risk processing biz, but inbetween business meetings I was also there to meet my girlfriends family.
My favorite bunny chow was the mutton curry bunny chow at a place called Blue lagoon/Coconut Grove.
Yum, yummy!
