No matter how much money you make, it's never enough. This holds true for anyone who doesn't save wisely. The same story could be true for someone who has a mainstream normal high paying job. Once that job dries up (like much of the tech industry did during the dot com collapse), you end up with a lot of people who also can't pay their cell phone bills. They didn't save anything when they could and now they're paying for it. I always tell models to put some cash in an interest bearing CD to lock it away if that's the only thing you can do to stop yourself from spending it. Most of them don't take that advice, unfortunately, but then again neither do my mainstream friends.
