Why are porn chicks always broke?
Why are porn chicks broke after they retire? They are not only broke when they retire from performing, most are already broke while they are still shooting every day. I know many girls that make 20,000 or more a month shooting porn and by the end of the month they lack 100 bucks to pay their cell phone bill. There are many reasons for that. Most girls are very young and realistically how many 18 year olds do you know that are financially responsible? Why do mainstream child stars end up broke filming cash advance commercials? So now imagine an 18 year old girl fresh out of high school that just started porn. She gets paid anywhere between 350 and 1500 bucks a day (depending on what type of scene it is) and if she?s cute she can work 5 days a week or every day if she is tough enough to handle it. Of course she has all the money she needs to buy cigarettes now and all kinds of other drugs too. I?m saying that the lack of money can prevent things to a certain degree when you?re a teenager where now that you have enough of it, things can get out of control very quickly.
Plus all of a sudden you have the money to buy all the things you?ve always wanted: big, expensive cars, designer purses, home electronics and stuff like that. You can spend 60G on a German car easily, that?s 3 month worth of porn work. Of course you have to live in a big expensive apartment and you need to buy a huge TV with surround sound. Then you spend the rest on designer clothes, sushi 4 nights a week and the rest goes through the nose. It?s no problem to blow all the money you make in one year of working in porn - even if you work every day. I don?t even want to talk about suitcase pimps and family members that come from your money or people with great ?business ideas? that take advantage of the girls.
Most girls are too young and they don?t know they will have to pay taxes because they are independent contractors most of the time. They are responsible to pay taxes quarterly. I don?t know too many people in porn who are on top of their payments. Imagine a girl does porn for 2 years, never pays a dime to the IRS. Eventually they find her but by that time she?s long done with porn, working a regular job. Not only did she blow all the money she made during her porn career, she also now owes 40,000 dollars to the IRS (most of it probably interest and penalties).
When you get into porn and everybody wants to shoot you. You are the next big thing and you can?t even work all the jobs that are being offered to you. You are booked 3 month ahead and it feels like this is going to last forever. Well, it doesn?t. You have to be smart and a special type of performer to be able to stay in porn for a long time and still make decent money. You have to be responsible and creative. You have to start to take things to the next level at some point and you have to come up with other forms of income that don?t rely on companies to hire your ass for their next fuck film: directing, feature dancing, own website/production, exclusive contract, stripping, escorting, web cam etc.
There are many ways of making money but it?s not all in your face and sometimes it takes effort. But why don?t porn agents help the girls to become financially stable, pay their taxes, open an IRA account, invest and save money? First because it?s not their job. They don?t care and they don?t profit from it. Why would you help somebody with no advantage to you? I would even go that far by saying it?s better for them if the girls are broke and desperate. Because that way they have more control. If you have a good amount of money saved you don?t really need to do a 15 guy gang bang if you don?t want to. I was always very open in my performance and I liked to do intense scenes from the very start. I also like to make the money. Not because I?m behind on rent but I like to save more for later.
