my friend did a shot at the bar he said it was like $170 or something, i could never see myself spending that kind of $ on a shot.

I prefer Remy but lookin around helps, I saw the XO2 for $400 and also for $600. Its in a store here for 235 euro like $280-300 thats a good deal I guess.

Yeah, glass usually taste the same regardless of the brand on the bottle.

you can with the normal 50 bucks one and the 300 XO2, its way way way smoother, but Ive never tasted the 1700 one so Im wondering...

I have a bottle which is way down towards empty

and had another one prior to it.Used to be 1100-1200 at one time now they jacked up the price to a ridiculous level. Yes It is a great cognac, usually saved it for special occasions, I guess I had a few too many of them

Courvoisier (the de Napoleon) is much smoother and a lot richer taste - but it comes at a much higher price (usually around $6k a bottle). Only had it once and was definitely impressed by the difference in taste to the Hennessy and Remy which were both real oily tasting comparatively

i can tell the difference between cheap vodka and grey goose. im sure the $1800 bottle of cognac is way easier to spot
