Hey, I'm as anti-gun as they come but if I was living in the USA at a time when the shit hit the fan, I'd want a gun (or a whole closet full of them too).
When a bunch of police were holed up in their division praying for their lives after Katrina, that told me all I needed to know about what would happen if disaster struck.

cops are not here to protect right to own guns, they take them when they want.
people in new orleans learned that when cops get scared, they seize civilians gun. people who were trying to protect themselves, were DISARMED BY THE COPS.

no i mean, maybe you would rather starve and suffer to death than take someone elses food. Most people will not, if they can steal your food they will. if killing you meant food and comfortable shelter, this is not a problem for a desperate person. probably be best not to assume I'm the typical GFY jerk off working at taco bell living in my mom basement, I'm well versed in the use of guns.
