I'm not sure how they auto-lock (pressing the brakes I thought?) but they didn't.. it's an older car, early 90's.

That sucks, if you look at the insurance institutes findings on the off set crash test you could find a nice car or truck.

I'll remember that. I rarely drive in winter since I work from home here on the computer, so I have few reasons to leave.. just happened to be driving to the mall with my girlfriend so she could exchange a Christmas gift
