Nobody convinced me it wasn't a real thing but I have been told that depression is a "state of mind" and "a choice" by a lot of different people. Scientologists for one think that there is no such thing as depression and that anyone with the right diet and exercise can overcome any form of depression. I know people that suffer from depression and sometimes they have some real bad times. My mom suffers from depression and she had been told by several different doctors to "just get over it" before she found a therapist that actually listened to her and helped her. The point of my post is that for those that think depression isn't a real thing this case would maybe make you believe otherwise. It appears that he has everything in the world to live for and yet he tried to kill himself.
But I wonder, What does me living in Portland have to do with any of it?
