    !! GFY, we need your HELP !!

    AdultMPA.org stands up for the (copy)rights for producers and distributors of adult entertainment for television, cable, home entertainment and the internet: All of you guys out here. This industry looses billions of dollars annually in potential worldwide revenue due to piracy !

    Our focus for 2006 is to stop password sharing by trying to get as many websites, message boards, newsletters and other media with the purpose of password sharing down.
    But that?s not all: we are going to support research to find ways to improve security, and make deals with companies to provide discounts to our supporters.

    So far, we?ve got the support of E5Hosting (Thanks Anthony), Epassporte (Thanks Chris, Shaliza & Linda) and Strongbox (Thanks Ray).

    To be able to continue this, we need your help. If you?re willing to help us, there are a few ways:

    1. You can volunteer for one of the jobs listed on our website
    2. You can provide us with a product / service we can put up for auction
    3. You can donate any amount to our Epassporte account: [email protected]
    4. You can become a corporate sponsor for the year 2006

    You?ll be hearing lots more of us in the future.. However, without many of you supporting us, our future will be a very short one.

          errrr.... how about you tell a little about what you are going/planning to do to "stop piracy" before you ask for donations

          your post + website pretty much gives 0 information as to where the donated money will be directed... and exactly what you are going to do

                                                                              What sites have you run (specifically)?

                                                                              How are funds going to be allocated? What % goes to what exactly?

                                                                              Are you setup _LEGALLY_ as a non-profit organization?

                                                                              How exactly do you plan to enforce copyrights in the US from Europe/BVI let alone countries in Asia or the Middle East?

                                                                              Taking some classes in law is great but in that case you're going to need some actual attorneys. Do you really think lawyers are going to donate their time to you to fight for porn when they could charge the same people their normal (ridiculous) rates to do the same?

                                                                              Do you know anyone in this industry (names please of course) who will vouch for you and can act as a reference?

                                                                              Do you have a full business plan (if you do, the allocation %s I mentioned above should surely be part of it).

                                                                                                                                                                                                  Not saying he's a scammer (not saying he's not either). He may mean well. However meaning well is not enough. Just becuase Bob down the block wants to stop AIDS in Africa it doesn't mean my money should be sent to him rather than a reputable organization with better resources and an actual plan of action. He may have just simply bitten off more than he can chew here.
