ya, our politicians are crooked, our law system is a joke, but can you honestly say that this is the only country like that? Give me a fucking break.. No matter what country you live in ALL politicians are crooked and in most cases, if you have the money, you can buy your way out out shit when it comes to the law. So what, you're gonna move to another country, find out it sucks, bitch and whine and move to another country? you will be repeating that for the rest of your life than. The reason our gov. is so crooked and gets away with it is because people leave instead of fighting our gov.

People need to start banding together and putting the government in its place. Till then we will keep getting fucked over constantly. Moving will not accomplish anything. If I knew more people that thought the same way as me when it comes to our government I would get them all together and we would try to change things. Of course, the majority of people that complain about the gov. are nothing but talkers.. Action is not something they are willing to do. I'm willing to try to change things, but doing it alone will do absolutely nothing.

Ya, my g/f's dad's car just got stolen a couple weeks back. 1 block away they spotted a career criminal with 80 convictions of car theft. No prints were found in the car, so they couldn't charge him.

It was 3:30 am, he was walking away from the area of the car, and there were no buses running. He was in a short sleeve shirt and was renting a place nearby. How did he get there? Obviously was driving the stolen car, as it's hood was still warm to the touch. 80 convictions.

two taxes when you purchase stuff, in BC anyways

i think it is 7% Gov. sales tax and then 8% Provincial sales tax
