trailer sucks. Alien & Alien 2 were good movies, 3 wasn't too bad either. Predator 1 rocked. This trailer for AVP2 doesn't look like it'll even come within a fraction of the quality A1/2 P1 were. Looks like just another big corporation quick flick. Poured out for the masses to waste money on.

DVD rental for me, just like the first. Ever since Alien 3, the whole series went down the shithole.
AvP had potential, but they fucked up the story with some ancient temple training ground bullshit.
Looking at that trailer, its nothing more than a mass bloody gorefest, with yet another story of a town in the middle of an alien war, and the humans need to figure out how to save their town from destruction... like we haven't seen that 500 times already. So, its a regular run of the mill DVD rental when there's nothing good to rent that week.

I was expecting a much better trailer. That made the movie look like crap to the point that I wouldn't bother watching it. You spend a large budget on the movie and then get a trailer like that made? Wow, the studio needs to fire whoever made that trailer, it didn't make me want to see it at all.

Hrmm looks like a B+ movie, not quite a B movie but certainly not a A movie.

Didn't see AVP, but those are the most memorable creatures/aliens of the 80's.
I really liked Alien, Aliens, and Predator's 1 and 2.
Didn't care for Aliens 3 and thought AVP would be crappy so never bothered to see it. Maybe I should check it out.Comment
