**The Adult Webmaster TV Channel!!**

Obviously it isn't something that could be on any network, but an Adult Webmaster Channel is doable using the new (FCC free) IPTV and Peercasting networks.

Sooo....I've started the "Adult Webmaster" Channel on Veoh Networks (www.veoh.com)

Currently there are only 2 shows (both shot at Internext FL at Cabana18). Details on the InternextLive blog.

But tASSy and I are working on several other shows (with footage including many of YOU), and hopefully ALL of the InternextLive archives will be turned into shows, too. I've seen lots of other video here that should be included.

TO WATCH:
Just download the Veoh player and search for "adultwebmaster"

TO ADD YOUR VIDEOS:
-Download the Veoh player
-Click the "Publish" tab
-Add "adultwebmaster" as a tag to your show or series.
**note: Veoh using peercasting, so you take zero bandwidth hit**

I should note that this is not a business or anything of mine. Just using new (free) tools and technology in a fun way.

Tassy and I have been using veoh to create our own DIY TV network:
www.PinkBroadcasting.com

And it just makes sense to have a place to assemble our industry vids!

(It's also a good way for sponsors and folks who record their events to get more mileage out of it by making video avail.)

Just finished looking it over - and it looks like an interesting concept.

One question, though...their TOS for acceptable use prohibits anything they deem "objectionable or pornographic". So is this to say the video content can't contain nudity? How are they defining "pornographic" here? Would a softcore bondage/fetish (single model, non-sexual) video get axed?

They are actually the only site of its kind that is okay with adult.

As long as you mark your content as "adults only" when you upload it, you can include anything legal.

But there is almost NO porn so far (although Yankscash has a sweet show on there) so the time is RIGHT for getting in early.

Thanks Halcyon. I've been looking for a venue like this for some of our softcore fetish videos we've produced (but not yet published) - just to kind of 'test the waters' before we decide to produce more in the future.

Already d/l'ed the software....I'll get it installed later tonight and take a peek.

Well, when we get to it, you are already on the "What is good about Porn" show we are working on.

But I'd love to make a special "Pink Players" episode from the Ball, too.

Ya know, it might be a cool place to put old Players Ball footage and expand the benefit to sponsors (i.e. I'm gonna put the InternextLive footage on veoh with "sponsored by" bumpers. It allows the sponsorship to last longer/ be worth more.)

I check'd out both a wmv and mov clip from your selection - the windows media quality was excellent, but wasn't able to view the mov since I don't have the mac app installed here.

Quick techie question - what output resolution are you going with on the .wmv clips? Full screen they were smooth and good quality.

While I agree in principal, I know that the "serious" seminars are often available archived and written up in Xbiz and YNOT. If people wanted to see that, it is already available.
If you are referring to the scenes that I chose to put online from Florida, my experience has shown that people are less interested in watching a discussion about the payouts of a webcam sponsor than they are about wachting a gaggle of webcam models having fun on camera. *Ideally* you learn a bit about the webcam compapny in the process of watching the silliness, but without the silliness, nobody would bother downloading in the first place.

For example, I can't tell you how many people tell me that the FLASHCA$H newsletter is the only Sponsor email that they read. Because it is packed with info? NO. Because it is fun and silly, and the "serious" info sneaks in beneath the wire.

Since they use peercasting (and therefore the bandwidth hit is not my responsibility) I have been uploading pretty large files of the shows. This is also intended as more of a TiVo-like service (meaning you select a show and then watch it whenever it is avail....so that peopel aren't actually waiting for the file to download.) I'll look up my compression settings as upload asap.

I'm more of an evangelical user than a techie, though. But I have been in contact with the Veoh people and can get you (or anyone) in touch if they have specific questions or needs.

I have years of both Players Ball and Internet footage and interviews.

I can bust some stuff out of the vault that will blow people away.

Not too many playa's back in the day carried a video camera everywhere and filmed the fun times. I was pretty much the only one for years. And I have it all. Never seen before stuff. Man, take me back to 1997 - 2002!

Sorry for the delay on the encoding question. I have been STRUGGLING with a DVD project and all my video shit is messed up. I haven't forgotten.

They are 640x480 and I *think* its 1400 kb. But I'll find out for sure.
