He keeps firing the coaches but himself survives. Someone suggested he must have some embarrassing photos of the Ford family, who own the Lions. I'm starting to think this suggestion may be right. Over the past offseason, the incompetent owner of the Lions gave Millen a new 5 year contract for his incredible losing record. I mean wtf?Comment

Thats all fine and good, but he will never be fired. He is so in bed with the Ford family that it would be like firing a Ford family member. All the hype, parades and fans running nuts will result in Millins firing. He has 5 more years on his contract adn he will be there until it ends.

Mariucci is a great coach too. It's too bad the coaching staff cannot get the help they need from the lions owners. It has been that way for years, and will be until the Fords pull their head out of their ass. Millen is a joke and everyone knew it coming in.
