    DJ a1r3k - I was wondering...can you answer me something

    A while back i downloaded your 80's dj mix with Michael Jackson and others. Really nice compilation.

    I was just wondering. Did you pay for all those songs? And also did you pay royalties for making it public?

                                          record companies need djs. we get the artists heard.

                                          kinda like affiliates using content to generate sales.

                                          anyway, bash all you want dutchie flicker.

                                          labels won't bite the hand that feeds them unless you mass produce them and sell them.

                                                                                                                                                                                                  I hate getting involved into drama threads, but damn it, A1R3K is completely correct. The music industry is a bind right now and deejays really help getting music heard, so they appreciate deejays playing any of their music, bought or not. I've been in the music industry for 16 years so I'm not talking out of my ass, plus I'm a deejay as well.
