396 on my list, and I talk with maybe 25-35 every few weeks... there's 100 or so whom I know I will talk in the future... there's 200 of whom I know who they are... and the rest.. well, I tried to remove them from my list, but I'm a retard and can't make them stay away with trillian. lol

It quit taking new names so I had to delete a bunch.

Why did they quit alphabetizing the names? Is it a setting I can't find? Now it takes forever to find soemone.

Right click at the top and sort by name

I have 2 full icq lists, and another that's about to be filled.

I think I got like 200-300 on there, dont feel like counting them. I talk to prolly 10-15 people most every week

Icq5 doesnt organize by name or online status. pro version does.

You can right click on the "G" button in ICQ 5 and sort by Name, but it's not sticky. You have to redo it as people come online.

You have to sort it once a day or so.
on the very top of your icq list is a fine line that in the middle says "ONLINE"
Right click on that and select sort by name.

actually you have to do it constantly - because as new contacts jump online ICQ adds them to the top of the list without putting them in alphabetical order.

I have probably 600 people or so on my list, it got way too big for ICQ a couple of years ago so I had to go to Trillian or else I couldnt add anyone else. It's a pretty clean list too -- there are a few people I dont recognize, maybe 2 dozen, the rest I know who they are, and I actually talk to most of them on occasion about something or another, usually business.
