My PC is getting fuckin' slow over the last week.. Maybe there's a new kind of undetectable virus using CPU performance :S

It sounds like you have a worm, or a mass mailing virus. Take a look at the free software called activeports. Its similar to the unix PS -aux command. Err in non nerd terms, it tells you wtf is talking ;) If you see a ton of weird *!$%. Then your likly infected.

TrendMicro has a free webbased virus scanning program which is pretty sweet. Googling trendmicro free, typically turns it up. Hope it gets better.

I was going to mention that, it's (crtl + alt + del btw..) then click on the memusage and cpu too see what's using it.

Also click on start and see if there any funny programs on start up (auto loads when your reboot)

not sure if this will help but I had a similiar problem earlier this year. Drove me crazy and in the end it turned out to be one of the processes on my anti-virus. I bought a wireless mouse and for some unknown reason the program that ran that interferred with something in my anti-virus called avlite. Once I uninstalled the wireless mouse and went back to a plug in the process went back to normal and my cpu usage went back to normal. Hope that helps :-).

                                Hmm...

Why run both IE & Firefox simultaneously?
