    well this is what i'm talking about. How hard is it to fax proof over to bdjuf like he was supposed to and promised many times?

    It is obviously not a secret now that they got spam complaints and a big fine, so why can't they fax bdjuf a copy of the fine? I'm sure bdjuf would be a bit more understanding and patient if he would have sent him some sort of proof, instead of a chain series of promises that he never followed through with

                    It did set me back well over 8 months, but I was not spamming at the old host.

                    I have said many times Split did not handle this properly over time. I think Bdjuf said it was August so on my calculations that's about 4 months, but either way that is a very long time.

                    Did Split handle this right no, are they offering to meet and make a resolve yes.

                                        They made the decision to take on a spammer as part of their business. That's not the customers problem. On top of that, the customer and Chris came to a deal where they would split the fine money.. Chris screwed them on that deal... again...

                                        What part of "I fucked him over." do you not get? He has clearly told all his current and future customers that if there's a situation that occurs and he's not happy with the way things are going, he will drag it out for months, lie to you, make deals and then back out of them. Do you really want to trust your money and business with someone like that?

                                            I think you are mistaking theking as a webmaster, take a look through his posts.. the only business you could get going with him, is if he signed up for a monthly membership... and even then, you better hope there are no coloured people in your members area, because he would most likely charge back. being the racist he is.

                                                I do not know if they were fully aware or not. I know many people with well over 20 boxes at a host. I've never had a host ask me if I planned to spam with the boxes I purchase, that should be dealt with in the contract you sign.

                                                If Split was fully aware, they took a lot of heat and now are passing the buck to Bdjuf then yes that is very fucked up and they should do a refund and more.

                                                                                                                            What SI told that all the mailing lists were double opts? 350 spam complaints in 2 hours would translate to about 100k pissed off people (the actual number of people who will correctly get a spam complaint to the right host account is actually fairly small... I am guessing about 1/10 of 1%). Most of the people probably just filtered it off or hit delete, and it ended there.

                                                                                                                            350 spam complaints in 2 hours is a pretty impressive number.

                                                                                                                            If SI suffered losses as a result of the actions of the client, losses that could not be forseen, or if they were in a position where the boxes were used in a way that would be unacceptable or outside whatever agreement was made, then it is up to the client to cover those costs, IMHO.

                                                                                                                            HOWEVER: If SI was aware of the client's intention (however reprehensible those intentions are), then SI needs to eat it at both ends.

                                                                                                                            At the end of the day, these sort of things only serve to remind me that most of the people making money in online porn are scammer, spammers, and jammers.

You confirmed that it was 100% correct (but there was more you wouldn't share) and that you fucked him over. Your words, the facts are there.

                                                                                                                                                                            The bottom line is that it seems you want the entire $5k paid for by them. And so you've dragged it out, made deals and backed out and lied about sending money.. Those are the facts. Those are not the actions of a professional.
