I don't see why some people feel the need to undermind the complexity of nature.

Last time I heard they had the evolution of all matter traced back to the first hydrogen atoms that fueled the first stars that formed the first galaxies

the intelligent design argument (one of St Thomas Aquinas' arguements for the existence of G-d) should remain in philosophy classes as they were the last time I hung out on college campuses lol...

Exactly since there is zero evidence except speculation.

From what I understand given a almost endless range of probabilities that our universe presents - I can't really see anything special about the evolution of life on earth.

There could be billions of planets that at one time or another harvested some form of life.

On top of the that our knowledge is limit to within our universe.

Our universe could very well be a mere sub-atomic partical in a much grander universe, it could even be something that we can't comprehend altogether

And we will probably never have the resources to figure this out.

ID is in my opinion is just another attempt for a simple answer to a complex question

This is how I feel about all religion - to me its equivalent and just as bizarre as the tribes who used to sacfice virgins to their Gods. Religion is merely evolving and that all this ID really is.

There is zero evidence of evolution.

The DNA lines that 9th grade science has been telling us for 100 years
shows that we didn't come from fucking APES so evolution may or may not be
a bunch of bullshit.

What the wack jobs on the other side are saying is both sides need to be taught !

You can find identical patterns in the DNA for all of life.

Which idicates that at one time it stemmed from one place and branched out through evolution.

You can also see evidence of this in the structure of the brain.

I am by no means a expert - but its not by chance that all life share so many of the same characteristics.

The human species is alot closer to the other mammals and even the other forms of life then some people like to acknowledge

Believe me - I wish I was some sort of Demi-God created by some master creator in his image of perfection

But in my opinion this is simply not the case

Philosophy has developed beyond Aquinas. Hume refuted the design argument several hundreds of years ago, and these days almost no philosophers are able to defend the argument while maintaining a straight face.

We didnt come from apes but in shools we learnt that we come.
I heard some theory that this missing link of our evolution have some relationship with aliens orion. They made some genetic tests to made human it take long time but finally they created human. Its longer story xd

Just thought I'd share a programming experience with you all. I heard a lecture of a professor on the radio about evolution and he metioned several ways to apply it to computer programs.

So I had to try.

Simple principle. I made one program (nature) to rule 10 others (race or individuals, you choose). I set the 10 programs to play tournaments of 4-in-a-row. All the five loosing programs were deleted, and the remaining 10 were duplicated with RANDOM changes.

You get the picture? The SUPERIOR survives, others vanish.

I only had one minor issue with this experiment. As these tournaments were played incredibly fast, the programs needed to "remember" the sets to actually benefit from their experience.

My 250GB hardrive were filled.

I guess you boys claiming ID to be valid, will also claim I designed +150GB of 4-in-a-row patterns. I will however still trust it was the one program running the rules of the total experiment which generated them (NATURE).

Evolution is a very prooved and simple principle which is a part of nature. Claiming otherwise is like denying 2+2=4.

I need productive trades for these sites. Preferably +50/day but I'm prepared to try smaller too.

If we evolved, how come here on this planet? If you think this was all created with a big bang -- where did the material from the big bang come from? Of course you can make the same argument where did the intelligent designer come from if you supported the other theory. Fact is WE WILL NEVER KNOW SO STFU. Merry Xmas.

2+2=4 huh? Hmm lets see... In nature, when 1 thing is "added" to another, it's usually by mating.. producing at least 1 offspring (equalling 3. both parents+offspring).
So 2+2 >= 6 (unless they're gay, then 2+2=4... hmmm.. I think I just proved that math is gay)
