                                    He did message me and I ignored him. I saw the chargeback in MVC admin and took for granted he was full of shit. I am in a very bad situation here and because I did not read the fine print of a TOS I cannot publicly disclose who's fault this it. I do not believe this guy charged back as this is not the first or even second complaint of this type I have recieved. I do apoligize for ignoring you and taking for granted you charged back. Upon closer examination it is obvious you did not charge back.

                                    Buddha00 I am unlocking your account and I will just eat the chargeback and fines that come from it. I would have came to the boards if I were you about this myself.

                                            Thank you Choker. I apologize as well for calling you a thief. I really took offense to be labeled as a cheat and a thief myself.

                                            Since my bank has no record of a charge back or disputed purchase to MVC it is obivious now as to who is fucked up.

                                            I told MVC that I didn't authorize any chargeback and that my bank had no knowledge of it. He basically didn't have anything to say.

                                                    But there is a better way to handle this kind of thing than to jump on the board and publicly call someone like Choker a thief.

                                                    And the second mistake is cocking off at those who try to point that out to you.

                                                    Bottom line is, it's better to ASK if you don't know, and leave the accusations as a last resort rather than a first resort.

When someone cheats me or worse charges back on me I lock their account and if they icq me I hit ignore user right away as I do not need the stress of dealing with people who are thieves. But recent events that I cannot go into detail about as I am under a contract and cannot disclose the details of, have led me to believe I banned a lot of innocent people. For this I apoligize and I will correct as soon as I can verify.

It looks like this right here is where buddahoo's problem started.
                                                                                                                                                                        I'd say it's pretty standard, they're just letting you know that if a customer rings up to complain that they will not necessarily contact the merchant before refunding the transaction. I've used two processors and they've never referred an unhappy customer to me... just a quiet refund with a couple of words of explanation (if I'm lucky). It's probably better to refund an irate customer immediately than potentially trigger a chargeback.

                                                                                                                                                                            The problem in this case is that it appears they (MVC) did the chargeback but both the merchant and the buyer were unaware of it, which caused the buyer (Buddah00) to make this wrongful accusation thread.

                                                                                                                                                                            I don't see anything standard about it.

                                                                                                                                                                            Issuing a buyer a refund at his request is standard, but in this instance that wasn't the case, and obviously by Choker's comments it seems it has happened several times before.
