    40 years ago, today...

    I was working in a MacDonalds when they introduced the Big Mac...

    I still remember the strange orange..ish "secret sauce."

    I was fascinated by the idea of a triple bun....and have been fascinated by nice buns ever since.....

              I worked there when they introduced Big Macs, Filet-o-fish and hot apple pies. Was there when they went from fresh potatoes for their fries to the frozen ones.

              What state were you in?

                  I remember reading about that in Fast Food Nation. That was a BIG turning point for them.

                      Well, it allowed them to start hiring women for one thing as labor laws prohibited letting them carry the big bags of potatoes, so they could not work there.

                      As far as the quality is concerned, I think it really went down.

                      When I worked there, there was a Jack-in-the-Box next door. People might go there for a burger and shake, but most walked over to McD's for their fries.

                      They were the best anywhere.

                              I'm having a hard time seeing baddog behind the counter at McDonalds. Is it just me?

                              I've seen you on motorcycles (in pictures), in group shots, on banners and in signatures; I even saw you at the Vegas Players Ball this year, but I can't seem to see you in a McDonalds uniform no matter how hard I try.
