HI Everyone 
I'm currently looking to pick up some traffic on my own by posting messages about myself, and a photo or two to encourage sign ups. I used to use a program a couple years ago which would post these messages and photos to multiple newsgroups in bulk fashion. You could set up the software with your messages and photos, and just let it run all day. It would post to all my "hand-picked" newsgroups that would match my sites niche. Does anyone know of any type of software out there that still works with posting to newsgroups? There used to be a monthly charge to post, and I usually recieved a better deal if I just purchased a year in advance.
What about blogs? Is my diary considered a blog site? I post everyday to my diary on the front page of my website. I know this helps with the search engines. Should I be submitting my diary page to blog sites? What should my blog look like? What are some of the popular blog sites to submit to? Sorry I don't really know much about this, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
