Anyone who has worked in a bar for any length of time will tell you that most people prefer their beer cold, often the colder the better. But there are a few people out there who order their beer "off", meaning they want the bottle run under warm water for several seconds to take the chill off.
I've noticed it's mostly older fellows ordering it that way.
So if in your travels you ever hear someone ordering a "Miller OFF", or "I'll have a Blue OFF" etc.... now you know what they mean. The beer is still quite cool, but the chill is taken off.
Me, I always prefer my brews ice cold. :D
