At the time (young as I was) I was listening to the likes of Maiden, Alice Cooper, Judas Priest and Motorhead to name a few. REAL rock/metal. Granted Axl was a a total wannabe pretty boy, but I didn't call the BAND prettyboys, I called only the guys I knew at the time that listened to them prettyboys.
Poison Motely and Ratt were the KINGS of prettyboys. Loathed them all.
I owned Appetite a few years later.
