    Best plugins to boost member retention?

    Hi,

    I?m looking for plug-ins for a members area that will significantly boost retention. I?m looking mainly for pics and vids (all niches - but general hardcore is most preferred).

    I really am not a big fan of proprietary video formats, i.e. needing activeX, DRM protected content, java, etc. Just good old fashioned clips that work across the board and keep surfers busy with a clean simple UI and high quality content.

    Any recommendations? What has worked well for you?

    Im mainly seeking the honest opinons of paysite owners however if you are a provider and want to contact me please send a l/p to your solution to darnit a gmail com along with your rate sheet and contact info.

          Your content/sites are great and i actively promote your programs on some free sites. However im looking for non-upsell plugins that are very easy on the surfer. Meaning once they get in they have a ton of pics and vids with no technical or financial barier to entry.

          Thanks for the plug though.... ill look into it on some "fake" paysites that i run.

                                                          Well its a megasite so a little taste of everything is good however the bulk of the traffic is predictably straight hardcore.

Yes premium/exclusive content and a good site are the best for retention but if you have ever owned or ran a program and look at "canned" content stats you would know how much BW is consumed by the members month after month......

                                                                                                                                                              BW = USERS/USERS = retention/rebills I agree with you 100% about very niche specific sites but generally speaking if I pull a good feed out of our members area I hear about it alot from my members once they get used to how they want to surf there porn or what they want to surf, they generally do not like that to be messed with or they cancel- which obviously does not help with RETENTION. Good points tho

                                                                                                                                                                          BW = USERS/USERS = retention/rebills I agree with you 100% about very niche specific sites but generally speaking if I pull a good feed out of our members area I hear about it alot from my members once they get used to how they want to surf there porn or what they want to surf, they generally do not like that to be messed with or they cancel- which obviously does not help with RETENTION. Good points tho

                                                                                                                                                                          plugins for tightly niched sites are a money loser---for general sites they might work ok. i have used them on general sites.

                                                                                                                                                                          operators have to choose the feed carefully. most feeds that i have seen are VERY poor quality. the producers encode them so tight to save BW they look like shit to the surfer.

                                                                                                                                                                          i could name names---but will not. but some of the biggest have the absolute worst shit feeds i've ever seen---big-time DVD producers who put their second string 5 year old shit into a feed and encode the piss out of it.

                                                                                                                                                                          i tested some and my members canceled in droves.
