I learned / am still learning spanish after almost living in Puerto Rico for a year and speaking it constantly. You can't learn it in a month. You can learn enough to get by but you should surround yourself with Spanish. I took spanish in high school and college, but didn't truly learn it until i moved to a spanish speaking country.
I lived in Costa Rica for a combined 3 years and I still don't speak fluent Spanish. 1 month seems like it will be pretty difficult, especially without immersion.
It depends what you mean by "learn spanish." Will you be fluent in a month? No way. But you can learn basic phrases well enough to travel in a spanish speaking country.
Any of you ever did that? That would be on my own, without immersion.
any tips?
Famous people are able to learn it fast, as they get the best language coaches. I think even they would take longer than a month. I'm pretty sure Shakira did this. And then Cesar Millan was helped by someone Jada Pinkett-Smith referred to him. And the actor Javier Bardom did it.

I'm pretty sure Shakira was born and raised in Colombia, where they speak
Spanish.
I'm very good at learning languages....It can be done in a month at least enough
to get you by in a more than decent way......but if you stop after that month
2 months later you've lost it again.

Yes, I know. But I would imagine this applies for any language. They say English is the most difficult. So I'd think you could do the same with Spanish.
