Just to clarify BOTH formats upscale regular DVDs. Both formats use the same blue laser.

My whole point is the last thing we need is another VHS/Betamax war. Paramount isn't helping that. If they had held out within 18 months Universal would have had no choice but to put movies on blu-ray and the war would had been over. Not to mention it's jusb plain dumb to have SOME of your movies on both and some on just HD-DVD. I know Sony movies are blu-ray only. I know Universal movies are HD-DVD only. I know Warner Bros movies are on both. Now with Paramount? Who fucking knows. Fucking retarded.
