That's crazy. Another story I read said that the plane skidded to a halt on the tarmac there, so I wonder if the fire was because of a shity landing or if they skidded to a stop because of the engine fire?

True, statistics say that flying is safer! but there is nothing more final than a plane crash! at least a car crash you have a chance of survival, but most plane crashes kill everyone.
