            My rule is this:
            If you can't FILL the purse with items of value and a wallet with some cash in it, you shouldn't have the purse. I hate seeing girls with LV purses who complain about spending 99 cents for a soda.

            It's the same with anything expensive. If you buy a Hummer, don't complain about gas prices.

            However, I do feel that if the person has earned it, then that person deserves nice posessions. Sure we don't die with them, but we get to enjoy them why they are here. Hell.. my weakness is cars. I'm sure each of us has something that we all like to splurge on. Some just spend more than others, and some spend what they don't have.

                                            I was never a porsche fan until you took me and dormbucks for a ride in it. Wooo Wee this ride is nice.                                             There is a reason you pay more for these cars and its not so you can say you spent 100k on the car. They are quality machines.

                                                                            In a car...the money is mostly spend on better technology, better materials, etc....and while some people buy it for vanity, it doesnt change the fact that usually if you pay more, you get better quality...

                                                                            Its not necessairly the case on a purse...(ok sure it might be sone fine leather... but nothing to justify a 3k purse)...you pay more just for the name...not because it has better technology or because its faster etc...There is nothing, in the fabrication of a purse, that could justify the 3k+ pricetag on it, except if you put some diamonds on it...

                                                                                                I drive a Lexus now. I drive it the same speed I drove my Maxima, to just about the same places. I have two huge houses and pretty much live in my office and my room, just like I did when I rented one smaller house. None of that shit means anything to me. The opinions of a bunch of arrested development overgrown teenagers in a club? That means far less than the car and house, which as I've already said doesn't really mean a lot except it's somewhere to put my money.
