        Hm, Anyone remember the BeckaLynn case? She lived in lakeland and had an amateur site. Larry was her lawyer, even, when the cops came knocking. She eventually had to agree to never run a site while living in Polk County and a few other things, but that was after a pretty extended back and forth battle.

                He doesn't want to fight. He wants to run and hide and let his fellow webmasters get picked off with no support until they decide to take everyone down. If Polk County is so hardcore about porn they could easily prosecute every site owner in the US using Polk County standards for obscenity.

                    Free Speech is Free Speech, no obsenity isnt directly in the constitution and it doesnt need to be.. Flat out, porn is NOT obscene, it is only obscene in the bible. I can go on TV right now and watch SHO, HBO or whatever and see obscenity all night long... hell i can read the bible and read all kinds of obscene shit.

                    I heard today that in Tampa Florida, (which is in hillsborough county right next to Polk), was some random demonstrations going on from some church holding signs near a mall (shopping season) stating that GOD HATES FAGS, FAGS WILL DIE, FAGS GO TO HELL.... now i would consider that pretty hateful aka well OBSCENE... Imagine all the innocent little children seeing that and asking " daddy whats a FAG?"

                            obscenity is not freedom of speech its not protected speech you people have to get this out of your heads, if on Chris's site he had no porn on it just war pics and commentary that argument would work but they charged him with obscenity and according to their community standards they are probably right.I believe in fighting the good fight but dont make yourself a easy target.

                                                            Your the one that is blind, you have it in your head this is a fight for freedom even when your shown in that county this how they treat porn . What is wrong with you once you get a idea in your head you dont have the ability to change. Actually the case that effects us all is not Chris's but Rob Blacks, thats the feds and thats going to become a constitutional fight. I see very little on this board on that one or lets raise money for Rob. My attitude is that I have a healthy respect for the law and cross as many t's as possible so Im not a target ?? Know the law pretty cold and make sure Im following it as close as possible. If thats a bad attitude then I have one, sorry if I dont follow the Im on the internet I can do whatever the fuck I want one that seems to be so popular. Maybe its because Im older and have worked in adlut in bricks and mortar, you have to follow rules it was that simple.

                                                                                It does NOT matter what you do personally. A lot of people don't want to push any boundaries themselves. That doesn't mean you shouldn't support the people that do it for you. A local government bringing obscenity charges should be scarier than the feds because they could easily find a small community that wants nothing to do with porn and bring every adult site based in the US up on obscenity charges one at a time. You don't think the federal government knows they have that trick up their sleeve?

                                                                                Also, I'm pretty sure I saw the STATE prosecutor claim that site was illegal so if you are in the same state as Chris he thinks the same about you. How much more local do you want them to get?

                                                                                                                                Well this whole issue brings up the problem with different "communities" who can come up with their own "standards". Theres many thousand different communities here in the US and if we allow Polk County to get away with this, imagine all the other counties that will follow???????? Might be yours..................... I dont know about you.. but I dont want to only be safe in 1 or 2 cities like San Fran or Los Angeles.. i wanna live and operate my business where I so please........

Theres many thousand different communities here in the US and if we allow Polk County to get away with this, imagine all the other counties that will follow???????? Might be yours.....................                                                                                                                                                             polk county has been doing this quiet a while the sheriff there I assume has to get elcted so the people support his stand. Where I live they give away papers filled with hookers, you can buy hardcore penthouse at the local borders. THey preview pornos at the art movie theatre.
