Just got a new computer and it keeps beeping from inside the box when theres an error. Is there a way to disable these beeps via control panel or bios so I don't have to open the box and unplug the speaker?
how do i stop my computer from beeping

You have to water it. It beeps because it needs to be watered, kind of link a flower.
Just kidding, I think a beeping can mean many things. Check your fans and make sure they are still working fine? my computer peeps when the CPU gets too hot? or did once

I know this may be a strange concept but...
Why not find out what the actual error is and fix it?
Im pretty sure if you fix it, the beeping will stop too, as if by magic

Try:
control panel/Sounds and Audio Devices/Sounds(tab) and select "No Sounds"
This will stop most sounds but not all.For sale : foslacs.com

Every bios is different ... you'll have to find it in yours.Originally posted by mkxwhere? 8Originally posted by rayadp05I rebooted, deleted temp files, history, cookies and everything...still cannot view the news clip. All I see is that fucking gay ass music video from "Rick Roll". Anyone else have a different link to the news clip?Comment

I would do the very same thing that I do when some putz is telling me a lot of bullshit I am not interested in:
I turn off my hearing aid.
and all is well.Comment
